PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Mafon is the epitome of a manly man; a woman's wet dream. With a natural sun tanned look and light brown eyes, he wears his black, curly hair long to his shoulders, which he oils to keep it under control, somehow managing to make it look sexy and not the height of douchebaggery. Add to this an impressive 6'9" frame, packed tight with thick and corded muscle.

Model is Antonio Cupo.

PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION Quiet often to the point of being uncommunicative, Mafon appears aloof, sometimes downright rude with a quick temper and little patience for fools. He has very little in his life that offers him peace, so when this peace is disturbed, Mafon reacts harshly. It doesn't help that he finds said peace at the bottom of a bottle.
HOBBIES Sewing. The repetitive action and focus lets him forget, while drinking helps him cope.

SHORT HISTORY Mafon was born to a loving, doting woman and an abusive man. When his father died, Mafon was ten Turns and old enough to feel guilty that he felt such happiness at the man's demise. His relationship with his mother became even closer, Anat his best friend and confidante. Being one of the bigger boys around the Hold, he had little trouble with his peers wise-cracking about his being a momma's boy, something he was secretly proud of being.

At 16, he was Searched and Impressed to a handsome Brown dragon and he knew ultimate joy and peace of mind. But that all changed when he lost his dragon in a Threadfall incident and was not injured enough himself to die with him.

For a Turn, Mafon traveled the road of self-destruction. Trying to kill himself with drink and reckless behavior. Eventually, he was forced to transfer and returned to the Hold he grew up in.

With his mother's help, Mafon picked up tailoring again, finding relief in monotonous stitching and focus-driven sewing. Throwing all that he had and every waking moment into drinking and sewing, he quickly made up what the Turns of Dragonriding had spent, and walked the tables to become a Journeyman. Mafon does not have the creativity to whip up fanciful designs, but he has proven to be extremely skillful in the executing of them, which makes him especially remarkable at embroidery. And he prefers it, due to the tight focus it requires, occupying a mind in misery.

Mafon chose to revert his name back to the one he was given at birth; not because he wants to forget being a dragonrider, but because he never, ever wants to hear, "Where is your dragon?"

He's quick to anger and he's intimidating, but if someone does snark a comment on how he's a man doing a woman's work, Mafon has the muscle and the will to make them eat their teeth before returning to his delicate embroideries.
